[30 Dec 2003|04:18am] [ mood | cranky ] [ music | MSI ] Last night was Bonanza's annual xmas bowling (and gossip time) party. (For those who don't know, Bonanza is the restaurant my mom works in. AKA USA Steak Buffet in some states.) Most of the crew was there: Rob and his family, Steve, Tom, Carol, Doug, Leann and her man, Jamie, Ben, Rusty & Justin (came w/ Ben & Jamie), Derek & Roxie, Christina, Christine, Casey (both M and F), Megan, about 12 of Casy & Meg's friends, some of Roxie's friends, Mike, Mitch, Cathy, Paula, Cindy, Dale, and some others. Chris, Christie, Rachel, and some others didn't show up. I'm glad Rachel didn't; I hate her. She gives me dirty looks for no reason at all. What is the point? So anyways. We went to Bonanza first to eat pizza and junk food. I got addicted to these oh-so good cookies. Eneded up having 8. Yeah, weight watchers here I come. So. Another Mitch story to add to the list. For those who don't know, Mitch is not all there, and Mitch has a crush on Shan. Well for once, the damn kid left me alone. He instead had a half hour conversation with my 9 year old brother about Yu Gi Oh and Dragon Ball Z. This is a 21 year old man we're talking about here. Raving on and on about all of those shit. I sat amazed, as I watched his mentality level sink with every word. He really has about a 4th grade intelligence level. After that, it was off to the bowling lanes. Me, Ash, Ben, Jamie, Justin and Rusty all had a lane together. Ben didn't want to wear the shoes, so we all had to take turns doing his. He ended up with the best score. How shtty is that?!? I suck at bowling anyways, but I have fun doing it. Derek, Roxie, Leann and her man, Roy, and this other girl were next to us. Roy got the gutter bumpers put up and Derek pouted like he was Roy's age. So many people just can't act their fucking age, it makes me sick. So we went a round and ran into Ralph and George bowling at the other end. Ralph and George are crazy crazy crazy. They had Ash and I laughing the rest of the night, telling us stories and spurting randomness. It's been a long time since I'd seen George. I miss those two nuts! So many crazy things happened, man. I took the Pee Wee sign AHAHA. I'll get a picture with it later. Went shopping with the gram today. The mall was a complete madhouse. People were like RRAAAAAHHHHH grabbing everything they could possibly grab. We as consumers act in weird ways when there are sales. It's funny to just sit and watch as people claw at each other to get the last set of Christmas tree ornaments or the last pack of baseball cards. <3Shan Do you have it?

MERRY XMAS! [25 Dec 2003|08:50pm] [ mood | pleased ] [ music | Evanescence "My Last Breath" ] Yes, it's that wonderful time of the year which I contemplate why I celebrate, being atheist and all. It's all bout the presents for me I guess. So here's my recap of the past two days: 12/14 6pm: Went to my Dad's. He lives next door to my gram's. I go to my gram's ever xmas to help her wrap, bake, cook, goof off, etc etc. Ever since my pap died though, everything goes to my aunt Cindy's and we eat and open presents n stuff there. So I played PS2 with my dad till 3am. Killed him at Tekken Tag 30+ times. Then played Enter the Matrix. Then watched Reloaded. Then we played Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. It was actually more fun than I'd expected. We went against each other, and I did better than I thought I would. He still annihilated me though. Well I trudged over to my gram's at around 3:15. She still wasn't home. I waited up till 4:15, started to fall asleep, then she came in. We stuck a ham in the oven, baked some cookies, wrapped some stuff, and hit the sack around 5 or 6. She had three of her attacks. :( It was hard to deal with...I hate it when it happens. 12/25 I don't remember exactly what time I got up...but I know we left not long after I did. I had about 15 min to do hair, makeup, clothes, and clean up my stuff. We carried everything out to the car and off to aunt Cindy's. Funny stuff as usual. I came downstairs in a styrofoam bra, undies, and neck brace set with had everyone cracking up. I posed for the cams like the supermodel I am ;) We opened presents, ate dinner (what a bunch that was...Italians and Greeks like whoa...) I played drums (I want a drum set!), played PS2 with my cousin Sean, then came home and here I am. Overall, it was a pretty good xmas. I'm getting better already...now maybe I'll stand some sort of chance against Ed hahaha...I also got a Deftones shirt. I like the Deftones a lot. This has been a good day. Very good. Do you have it?

Well I ran into Keri and Michael and they decided to stay w/ me and run around n stuff. So I talked to Ed, he was pretty occupied though so I just decided to go. I had people with me anyways. So we went to the dance thing and it was lame. Everyone was all seperated in cliques n shit. So we left and came down the side exit where Brian Coffman and Curtis Dunfee were smoking weed. Right there in the mall. That's funny stuff. We went in JC Penny and tried on old lady clothes and 50s homecoming dresses, then molested a maternity mannequin. Went up the down escalator, cuz thats just our tradition hahaha. Ran around in JC Penny a lot, which was goofy as usual. Went to Bonanza, stole chicken off the bar, then came back and ran around in KMART. Got home round 11. Craziness. THere was a lot more I just don't feel like typin it all out. I'm so lazy. XMAS vacation. And I'm damn glad. I hate school. It's good to get away form that hell hole. The last day was fun though. We just sat around and talked the whole time, scarfed cookies in Senora's class...I think I did good on my Chem exam. I know I got a 79 on the history one. I only studied half of what I was supposed to because I lost half of the damn definitions which pissed me off. I need to get more organized. I think I did good on the geometry one. At least an 86 I hope. Spanish I failed. I got a 42. It was a memorized poem and I studied SO hard for it, but I hate being in front of the class, so I got up there and my mind went blank. Yup. Fucking sucked. Quirk's test I know I missed 3 of them for sure, but we're not done yet. The second half is after vacation. That's good though because it gives me all of break to study. [20 Dec 2003|03:12am] [ mood | jubilant ] [ music | Shinedown "Stranger Inside" ] Went out with Ed tonight and had a fucking great time. He's definitely one awesome person. He's great to talk to; I'm completely comfortable talking to him about anything. We went to the arcade and he KILLED me at Tekken 4, I embarrassed myself on DDR because I didn't know the songs on the arcade version (yet I still laughed about it), we played Time Crisis and this odd Star Trek game that ended up being wicked fun although I hate ST. Then we went and ate at Undo's, which was actually good. Any time I'd had Undo's before it wasn't good. I had pizza, salad, and this bread w/ cheese. It was pretty good. When his friend brought out the bread (it looked like a mini pizza) Ed was like "Geez they bring the pizza before the appetizers?" and I was like "Um, Ed, that's the bread..." It was way too funny...his friend works there and he was wicked funny, too. Then we went to his house and he killed me at Mortal Kombat, a game at which I happened to think I was quite skilled at. I was so rusty cuz I haven't played in a long time. So I got mauled. Next time, he's goin down. :) Then we went out for a 2-hour drive and just talked, which was amazing because I love talking to him. ALways very interesting conversations. His brakes started to go out though. My mom was skeptical at first, but she believes us thankfully, because it's true after all. If it were a lie I'd feel bad, but it wasn't. I came home, got on here, and well, here I am. Rich or Rikki or Tony aren't on as I hoped they'd be. Oh well :( I guess I'll be lonely tonight haha. :) I can understand: it IS 3:20 am.
